London is always a good idea

Before my better half decided to spend two months in London, I have to say, that we were there three years ago and I wasn’t really impressed by it. To me London was a cool city but nothing worth visiting a second time. As soon as he told me that he was going to leave me alone for two months I immediately disliked this city. The tide has turned when I went there for a short visit. I felt downright in love with LDN and you can’t imagine how sad I was leaving this city again (that I was sad leaving my boyfriend for a few more weeks goes without saying ;-)). Well, a positive thing was, that he turned into an insider after just two weeks of being there and so he was able to show me things we didn’t see before. I didn’t only fall in love with some districts but also (an what is more!) with the delicious food. That’s why I start with a list of restaurants you have to visit:

A short trip to Hamburg

A few weeks ago my daddy and me spent some beautiful days in Hamburg. We decided months ago that if / when we finally have some free time to spend together we will do a short trip to a German city and well.. we chose Hamburg. As many of you may have noticed my love belongs to harbors and anchors and the maritime style, that’s why I chose the 25Hours Hotel which was directly at the harbor aaand to top all this, we had our room with a view over the it, isn’t it amazing?

A wedding weekend in Montreux

Wie ihr wisst, haben wir letztes Wochenende in Montreux verbracht. Ich kannte und liebte Montreux schon vor diesem Wochenende, weil ich schon oft da war. Ich verbrachte zwei Monate aufgrund des Sprachaufenthaltes in der Französisch-sprechenden Schweiz und immer wenn ich dort bin, fühle ich mich zuhause. Ihr wisst ja, wie sehr ich den Süden und das Meer liebe. Montreux hat zwar kein Meer, liegt aber im Süden der Schweiz. So komme ich mit wenigen Stunden Fahrt dem  Sommerfeeling ein bisschen näher.  Der See, die Palmen, die Menschen, das Wetter..

I belong to the sea

As you may have noticed, I am a huge fan of the sea! I’m half Italian and half Spanish and that’s why I was quite often by the sea. Although my mommy and me live in Switzerland, we aren’t part of the super rich people here. My mommy has tried to bring us every summer to the sea despite our financial situation. We were and we are lucky because due to our family we had the opportunity to feel the sand under our feet 🙂 Every year we went to the same place in Italy. I loved it, although it was every year the same thing. While all my school mates talked about ship cruises and all- inclusive vacations, I enthused over Termoli in Italy.

But then I got older and my mummy allowed me to visit my grandparents all alone. They live in Galicia, in Spain next to the sea. A dream! Since I’m 12 years old I visit them every year and although I travelled and visited a lot of places so far, this is one of my favorite places in the world. Next to Napoli for sure.
